THE PINE MARTEN DEN

Devil’s Bridge Station is home to ‘The Pine Marten Den’.

The restored weigh bridge building at Devil’s Bridge station has been transformed into an exhibition space that celebrates the recovery of the pine marten in Wales. Visitors will be able to find out more about the pine martens of the Rheidol Valley and beyond, and how The Vincent Wildlife Trust’s  Pine Marten Recovery Project  has helped bring this native Welsh mammal back from the brink of extinction.

This joint project has been funded by the Cefn Croes Windfarm Community Trust and the Rob Strachan Legacy Fund.
