The detail work on Carriage 11 is progressing at a steady pace.

The individual panels under the windows are being veneered in house by one of our master craftsman, to ensure a quality finish, he ensures that the patterns line up as part of the preparation, then the veneer is glued to the wooden panels and sealed in a vacuum bag for 8 hours, to apply even pressure to the panel with both sides being treated.

The interior fittings are all designed to lock the adjacent piece into place so very few screws will be visible when complete.

The exterior sheeting has also begun to be applied with each sheet being individually prepared to fit and countersunk, a time comsuming process.
