The Baldwin is starting to look like it a 10-12-D, but much is still to be done.
The engine has had new cab side and front sheets fabricated for it and the original roof and ironwork has been removed from the old cab and temporarily bolted to the new parts, pending hot riveting to permanently join the metalwork.
The new chimney has been completed using parts salvaged from the old one.
The tyres for the driving wheels have arrived and are awaiting fitting to the driving wheelsets before the engine can be turned into a rolling chassis.
